FAQ

Answers for parents and participants. If you have additional questions, reach out anytime.

Is ForgeWell therapy?

No. ForgeWell is not therapy and does not diagnose or treat mental illness. It is a youth development program focused on discipline, community, and resilience.

What if my teen has anxiety or depression?

ForgeWell does not replace professional care. Families are encouraged to maintain licensed mental health support when needed. ForgeWell provides structure, mentorship, and resilience training.

Is the Forged Spirit pillar religious?

ForgeWell is non-denominational. We do not promote a specific doctrine. Forged Spirit focuses on purpose, values, gratitude, and connection to a higher power as personally understood.

What if my teen wants to withdraw before the year is complete?

Families may withdraw at any time. If a teen expresses a desire to leave, leadership will schedule a conversation with the teen and parent to understand concerns and determine whether adjustments are appropriate. Participation may conclude respectfully if the family chooses to withdraw.

Under what circumstances could a participant be dismissed?

Dismissal may occur for serious or repeated violations of the Code of Conduct (e.g., bullying, harassment, substance use during activities, physical aggression, or serious safety violations). Our goal is restoration and growth, but safety and group integrity come first.

How are complaints handled?

Concerns are first addressed with program leadership. If unresolved, a written complaint may be submitted. Serious issues may be escalated to the Board of Directors for review.
